SEKOU-TOURE REGIONAL REFERRAL HOSPITAL ANNOUNCES CONTRACT EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Position: Orthopaedic Technologist (03 Positions)
A. Qualifications Required for Direct Application
i. Applicants must have completed Form Four education or above.
ii. Must possess a Diploma in Orthopaedic Technology from a government-recognized institution.
B. Duties and Responsibilities
i. Conduct assessment of patients requiring prostheses or assistive devices for correction or support (orthoses).
ii. Take measurements and design prostheses or assistive devices according to patient needs.
iii. Manufacture, fit, adjust, and maintain prostheses and assistive devices.
iv. Provide training to patients on the use, care, and safety of the devices provided.
v. Monitor patient progress and make device adjustments when necessary.
vi. Collaborate with doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other rehabilitation specialists.
vii. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of services provided.
viii. Participate in health education, research, and quality improvement of prosthetics and assistive device services.
ix. Adhere to professional ethics and guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and relevant professional councils.
x. Perform other professional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
APPLICATION GUIDELINES

Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged between 18 and 35 years and must not have been previously employed in any Public Institution.

Applicants must possess a Form Four or Form Six certificate.

Applicants must hold a Diploma certificate in the relevant field.

Attach a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) including a physical address and telephone number.

Attach two recent coloured passport-size photographs.

Attach a copy of the National Identification Card (NIDA).

Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure that their academic certificates have been verified and approved by the relevant authorities (NACTE and NECTA).

Provisional results, statements of results, or testimonials will not be accepted.

Submission of false information or forged academic certificates will result in legal action against the applicant.
Remuneration
Successful contract employees will be paid Tshs. 250,000/= in accordance with the directive issued by the President's Office – Public Service Management and Good Governance on 24th December 2025, Ref. No. HA. 151/200/01/12.
