Manager, Tax Services – (1 POSITION)
Position Summary
Coretax Africa is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Manager to join our Tax & Transfer Pricing Services team. The successful candidates will be responsible for leading and delivering tax engagements in compliance with applicable tax legislation and the firm's methodologies. The role requires strong technical expertise, sound professional judgment, and the ability to manage multiple client engagements while maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and client service.
The Tax Manager will also play a key role in supervising and coaching senior and junior team members, supporting client relationship management, contributing to business development initiatives, and promoting a collaborative, high-performing culture aligned with the firm's values and professional standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage tax engagements, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality services in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and firm methodologies.
- Review, and oversee engagement deliverables, ensuring they meet Management's quality expectations.
- Lead business proposal review, preparation and ensure timely submission of proposals to prospective clients.
- Manage client billing cycle and collection process.
- Identify, assess, and escalate engagement risks to management while ensuring appropriate mitigation measures are implemented.
- Maintain complete and accurate engagement documentation on the firm's approved storage systems.
- Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while ensuring the team is fully assigned work in a balanced manner.
- Stay abreast of developments in Tanzanian tax legislation, transfer pricing regulations, and international best practices.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships by providing practical, high-quality tax advisory services.

Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, Taxation, or a related field from a reputable university.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA (T), ACCA, ADIT, or an equivalent certification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 6-10 years of relevant experience in tax advisory, tax compliance, and transfer pricing, preferably within a professional services or consulting environment.
- Strong knowledge of Tanzanian tax legislation, transfer pricing regulations, and international tax principles.

Senior Associate, Tax and Transfer Pricing Services – (2 POSITIONS)

The role requires strong technical expertise, sound professional judgment, and the ability to manage multiple client engagements while maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and client service.
The Senior Legal Officer will play a key role in managing legal engagements, providing practical and commercially focused legal solutions, representing clients before regulatory authorities and tax dispute resolution bodies, supporting business development initiatives, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to the firm's reputation as a trusted business advisor.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver legal advisory, company secretarial, tax, and regulatory compliance engagements in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and the firm's methodologies.
- Prepare, review, and oversee high-quality legal deliverables, including legal opinions, contracts, agreements, corporate documents, compliance reports, and other client deliverables for review by Managers and Directors.
- Provide advisory services on corporate and commercial matters, tax law, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and other legal matters affecting clients.
- Provide company secretarial services, including company incorporation, statutory filings, maintenance of statutory registers, preparation of board and shareholders' resolutions, and corporate governance advisory.
- Representing clients before tax and regulatory authorities, including TRA, TRAB, TRAT, BRELA, FCC, BOT, TIRA, and other relevant government institutions, ensuring effective communication, timely resolution of regulatory matters, and compliance with applicable requirements.
- Prepare regulatory submissions, responses, applications, and correspondence on behalf of clients while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
- Support clients in tax-related matters, including tax advisory, regulatory reviews, tax disputes, objections, and engagements with tax authorities.

Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from a reputable university.
- Admission as an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and Subordinate Courts thereto.
- Professional training or certification in Company Secretarial Services, Corporate Governance, Taxation, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 4–7 years of relevant experience in corporate and commercial law, tax advisory, company secretarial practice, regulatory compliance, or related legal services, preferably within a law firm, professional services, or consulting environment.
- Strong knowledge of Tanzanian corporate law, tax legislation, regulatory compliance requirements, and company secretarial practices.
- Demonstrated experience in advising clients on corporate governance, statutory compliance, and regulatory matters.
- Experience representing clients before TRA, TRAB, TRAT, BRELA, and other regulatory institutions will be an added advantage.
- Excellent legal drafting, analytical, research, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Human Resource Business Partner – (1 POSITION)
Position Summary
Coretax Africa is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering comprehensive human resource services across the company, supporting business objectives through effective people strategies, employee engagement, talent management, and operational excellence. The role requires a strong HR generalist background, sound knowledge of employment practices, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to provide practical HR solutions that support a high-performing organizational culture.
The Human Resource Business Partner will play a key role in partnering with management and employees on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, learning and development, compensation and benefits, HR policies, payroll coordination, compliance, and the firm's development. The role will also be responsible for supervising the Office Administrator, ensuring effective delivery of administrative support services and maintaining a professional and efficient workplace environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Partner with management to develop and implement human resource strategies aligned with the firm's business objectives and company goals.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, recruitment, selection, onboarding, employee development, performance management, and employee exit processes.

- Demonstrated experience managing the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, payroll coordination, and HR compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and stakeholders, ensuring professional and welcoming experience.
- Manage incoming telephone calls, emails, and other correspondence, directing enquiries appropriately.
