St. Nathan's Mtewele Hospital invites Qualified Applicants to apply for the following positions:

VACANT POSITIONS

1. ANAESTHETIST - 1 Position
2. MEDICAL DOCTOR - 2 Positions
3. OPTOMETRIST - 1 Position
4. DENTAL THERAPIST - 1 Position
5. ASSISTANT NURSING OFFICER - 1 Position

KEY REQUIREMENTS FOR EACH POSITION

ANAESTHETIST

• Age: 20-40 years
• Education: Diploma in Clinical Medicine or Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery + Certificate in Anaesthesia
• Registration: Valid license with MCC or TMC
• Experience: At least 2 years in relevant field, with additional experience in anaesthesia and managing pre- and post-operative care
• Other: Good communication skills, basic computer skills, and ability to provide patient care with courtesy, respect, dignity and confidentiality

MEDICAL DOCTOR

• Age: 20-40 years
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Medicine
• Registration: Valid license with MCC
• Experience: At least 3 years in leading clinical teams, ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing medication and performing surgeries
• Other: Good communication skills, basic computer skills, and ability to provide patient care with empathy, respect, dignity and confidentiality

OPTOMETRIST

• Age: 20-40 years
• Education: Diploma in Optometry
• Registration: Valid license with MOT
• Experience: At least 1 year in clinical procedures, refraction, control and sterilization
• Duties: Comprehensive eye examinations, prescribing and adjusting corrective lenses and visual conditions
• Skills: Knowledge of cutting lenses and fitting of dispensing glasses
• Other: Good communication skills and basic computer skills

DENTAL THERAPIST

• Age: 20-40 years
• Education: Diploma in Dental Therapy
• Registration: Valid license with MCT
• Experience: At least 2 years in dental procedures, infection control and sterilization
• Other: Good communication skills and basic computer skills

ASSISTANT NURSING OFFICER

• Age: 20-40 years
• Education: Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery
• Registration: Valid license with TNMC
• Experience: At least 2 years in providing nursing care to patients and maintaining patient records and hygiene
• Other: Good communication skills, basic computer skills, and ability to provide patient care with courtesy, respect, dignity and confidentiality

MINIMUM GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL APPLICANTS

1. A recently updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) with your NIDA number clearly indicated
2. Copies of all academic and professional certificates
