POSITION: TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR – BURUNDI
Reporting Line: Senior Manager, Facilities Operation

Job Purpose
To oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of the Bank’s transportation and logistics operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely service delivery.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily logistics activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment
  • Monitor and improve warehouse and transportation efficiency
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Manage logistics staff including drivers and dispatchers
  • Assign duties, provide training, and evaluate staff performance
  • Liaise with suppliers and transport service providers
  • Resolve delivery, transportation, and supply chain issues
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and operational procedures
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
  • Monitor and control logistics and transportation costs
  • Prepare logistics performance reports and KPIs
  • Maintain accurate logistics and transport documentation

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Inventory, Archives, Documents and Records Management or a related field
  • Professional qualifications in Procurement or Records Management will be an added advantage
  • Minimum of three (3) years relevant working experience
  • Experience in a Banking or Financial Institution will be an added advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Job Purpose
To ensure effective management of all the Bank’s purchased and stored items and to oversee records management functions in compliance with governance requirements.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage inventory and records management activities
  • Monitor inventory and records centres to ensure compliance with governance and regulatory standards
  • Implement inventory and records management procedures and manuals
  • Manage stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking
  • Implement and manage digital archive and inventory management systems

  • Manage inventory and records budgets and evaluate suppliers
  • Support continuous improvement of inventory and records processes

Principal Responsibilities
