SBC Tanzania Limited is a well-established and progressive multinational company supplying soft drink products nationwide, with plants in Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, Arusha, and Mbeya. Currently, our Dar es Salaam Plant seeks to urgently recruit qualified, experienced, and hands-on skilled personnel to fill the following positions:

  1. Electronics Engineer (2)
    Reporting to: Manufacturing Manager
    Location: Dar es Salaam

Primary Purpose of the Job
To supervise and participate in the construction, installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of electrical appliances, systems, facilities, and related electronic controls of varying design or complexity.

Main Responsibilities:
Supervise and participate in the construction, installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of electrical appliances, systems, facilities, and related electronic controls and devices by interpreting blueprints, manufacturers’ specifications, written and verbal instructions.
Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles using hand tools and measuring instruments.
Install and maintain electrical control systems and solid-state equipment.
Modify electrical prototypes, parts, assemblies, and systems to correct functional deviations.
Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate performance of developmental parts, assemblies, or systems under simulated operating conditions and record results.
Collaborate with Maintenance Engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve developmental problems.
Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical instruments or testing equipment.
Analyze and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems.
Write commissioning procedures for electrical installations.
Prepare project cost and work-time estimates.
Evaluate engineering proposals, shop drawings, and design comments for sound electrical engineering practice and conformance with established safety and design criteria and recommend approval or disapproval.
Draw or modify diagrams and write engineering specifications to clarify design details and functional criteria of experimental electronics units.
Conduct inspections for quality control and assurance programs, reporting findings and recommendations.
Prepare contracts and initiate, review, and coordinate modifications to contract specifications and plans throughout the construction process.
Plan, schedule, and monitor work of support personnel to assist the supervisor.
Review existing electrical engineering criteria to identify necessary revisions, deletions, or amendments to outdated material.
Perform supervisory duties such as recommending work assignments, approving leaves, and completing performance evaluations.
Plan methods and sequences of operations for developing and testing experimental electronic and electrical equipment.
Visit sites to observe conditions impacting design and to identify solutions to technical problems involving electrical systems equipment that arise during operations.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Compliance with maintenance schedules.
Tidiness of working surroundings.
Effective troubleshooting and repairs.
Reduction of machine and equipment downtime.
Timely support to users with minimal complaints.

Entry Requirements:
Advanced Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
At least 4 years of working experience in similar responsibilities.

  1. Quality Assurance Technician (2)
    Reporting to: Assistant Quality Control Manager
    Location: Dar es Salaam

Primary Purpose of the Job
To assist in testing and inspection of products at various stages of the production process, compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain product quality and reliability, and prepare reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.

Main Responsibilities:
Ensure raw and packaging materials meet specifications before receiving/acceptance.
Ensure bottle washer parameters are within required specifications.
Ensure blown bottle parameters are within specifications.
Ensure compliance with GMP, Quality, and Food Safety standards.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Ensure compliance with good housekeeping practices, standards, and schedules.
Ensure equipment, machines, and surroundings are maintained clean and proper.
Ensure food contact, non-food contact, product, and non-product zones are maintained clean and tidy.
Ensure production of quality and safe products (Water, Syrup, and Beverage).
Maintain proper and timely documentation of all parameters and activities.
Maintain proper operations of the effluent treatment plant.
Prepare reports.
Timely requisition of materials from the store through the NAV system.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Quality and timely production of water, syrup, and beverages.
Conformance to quality parameters at various production stages.
Compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.
Proper and timely documentation.

Entry Requirements:
Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Degree in Laboratory Technology, Food Science and Technology, or a related field.

  1. Mechanical Engineer (2)
    Reporting to: Manufacturing Manager
    Location: Dar es Salaam

Primary Purpose of the Job
To provide maintenance support and support Production and Quality Assurance Departments in implementing performance improvement activities.

Main Responsibilities:
Plan day-to-day maintenance activities including manpower allocation, arrangement of spares, and timely completion of jobs.
Support Production and Quality Assurance Departments in implementing performance improvement activities.
Assist in preparing and adhering to the Annual Preventive Maintenance Plan.
Assist in reviewing preventive maintenance procedures and schedules for bottling lines, utility equipment, and off-site equipment, and implement necessary changes with proper documentation.
Ensure all preventive maintenance jobs are completed and properly documented.
Achieve plant Key Performance Indicators.
Prepare annual shutdown job lists and required spares in time.
Coordinate with Quality Assurance Department on quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Prepare reorder levels and quantities for plant consumables including bearings and lubricants.
Impart training to subordinates as per plans.
Ensure proper housekeeping at work areas and workshops.
Prepare and maintain a Facility Maintenance Program and Schedule.
Comply with company values and standards.
Coordinate with production to reduce full bottle rejection through proper servicing of filling valves.
Ensure logbooks and checklists are maintained by operators and reviewed daily with feedback.
Perform other tasks as required by the job or management.

Reduction of machine and equipment downtime.
Tidiness of working surroundings.
Timely support to users with minimal complaints.
Compliance with maintenance schedules.
Effective troubleshooting and repairs.

Entry Requirements:
Advanced Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
At least 4 years of working experience in similar responsibilities.

  1. Labeller Operator (2)
    Reporting to: Production Officer
    Location: Dar es Salaam

Primary Purpose of the Job
To ensure products are properly labelled according to order specifications.

Main Responsibilities:
Operate machines that attach gummed identification labels to products.
Place labels on machine spindles and activate heating elements.
Position products on the machine bed and initiate labelling mechanisms.
Remove labelled products and position unlabelled ones simultaneously.
Repeat operations to label reverse sides where applicable.
Operate machines that attach labels and punch center holes where required.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Proper record keeping.
Timely reporting of machine malfunctions.
Knowledge of plastics and labelling procedures.

Entry Requirements:
Form IV or VI with Vocational Training Certificate Grade Test I or II.
At least 4 years of experience in a related field.
PET machine running experience is a must.

  1. Senior Accountant (1)
    07th January 2026
    Reporting to: Assistant Finance Manager
    Location: Dar es Salaam

Primary Purpose of the Job
To ensure accurate and timely stock reconciliation, preparation of statutory returns, maintenance of the fixed asset register, maximization of returns on scrap sales, timely settlement of matured invoices, and adherence to monthly accounting closure timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
Review daily, weekly, and monthly stock reconciliations and circulate reports.
Prepare and submit monthly stock count protocol reports within four days of closing.
Review breakage reports and advise corrective actions.
Review daily CCTV and dispatch reports and highlight variances.
Review depot stock reconciliations and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare and review GIT analysis reports.
Prepare statutory returns including VAT, Excise Duty, and other levies.
Reconcile ETS consumption versus production and excise duty returns.
Perform brand pack reconciliations and variance analysis.
Follow up with scrap vendors for timely settlement.
Participate in financial closing activities.

Entry Requirements:
Advanced Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or a related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
CPA qualification will be an added advantage.

Skills Required:
Knowledge of IAS and IFRS.
Ability to supervise subordinates.
Knowledge of taxation laws and regulations.

  1. Filler/Blow Moulder Operator (3)
    Reporting to: Production Officer
    Location: Dar es Salaam

Primary Purpose of the Job
To support Production and Quality Departments in operating plastic moulding machines.

Main Responsibilities:
Operate machines at recommended speeds.
Ensure minimum rejections and breakages.
Report machine abnormalities immediately to maintenance.
Ensure proper storage of tools.
Adhere to maintenance schedules, greasing, oiling, and daily checklists.
Maintain cleanliness around machines.
Maintain personal hygiene and use protective gear.
Record downtime accurately.
Ensure machines are switched off after production or during breakdowns.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Proper record keeping.
Timely reporting of machine malfunctions.

Entry Requirements:
Form IV or VI with Vocational Training Certificate Grade Test I or II.
At least 4 years of experience operating PET machines.

  1. Production Officer (2)
    Reporting to: Production Manager
    Location: Dar es Salaam

Primary Purpose of the Job
To supervise manufacturing employees, plan and assign work, implement policies and procedures, and recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, and working conditions.

Main Responsibilities:
Lead production lines as assigned.
Enforce safety and sanitation regulations.
Direct and coordinate production employees.
Plan and achieve target production volumes.
Analyze production schedules, charts, and reports.
Coordinate operations within and between departments.
Establish work schedules and production sequences.
Inspect materials, products, and equipment.
Train new employees on equipment and safety procedures.
Monitor production standards and indicators.
Implement HACCP for the plant.
Implement AIBI audit requirements.
Ensure achievement of quality scores and implement corrective actions.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Achievement of daily production target of 58,000 cartons.
100 percent completion of production and maintenance reports.
100 percent conformance to standard specifications.

Entry Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Food Science and Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
At least 4 years of working experience in similar responsibilities.
