1.0 LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST: POSITIONS – 02
1.1 Duties and Responsibilities
a) Conduct testing of samples received in the laboratory.
b) Store samples that require further investigation or referral to higher-level laboratories.
c) Perform inspection of laboratory reagents, equipment, chemicals, and chemical storage.
d) Maintain laboratory records obtained during examinations.
e) Train subordinate staff.
f) Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor related to the applicant’s education, experience, and skills.
1.2 Qualifications of the Applicant
Applicants must hold a Diploma in Health Laboratory Technology from a Government-recognized institution and be registered with the Laboratory Professionals Council.
2.0 RADIOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGIST – RADIOLOGY: POSITION – 01
2.1 Duties and Responsibilities
a) Examine patients referred to the radiology unit.
b) Maintain radiology machines and equipment in the work area.
c) Review X-ray images for quality and diagnostic adequacy.
d) Safely store patients’ images until results are delivered to the referring doctors.
e) Supervise subordinate staff.
f) Provide advice on radiology and radiation-related matters within the work area.
g) Prepare treatment/diagnostic equipment and supervise sterilization procedures.
h) Provide orientation training to newly assigned staff in the work area.
i) Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor related to the applicant’s education, experience, and skills.
2.2 Qualifications of the Applicant
Applicants must hold a Diploma in Radiology Technology from a Government-recognized institution and be registered with the Tanzania Atomic Energy Commission / Radiation Professionals Board.
3.0 PHARMACY TECHNOLOGIST: POSITION – 01
3.1 Duties and Responsibilities
a) Classify, prepare, and order medicines and medical supplies in the work area.
b) Dispense medicines and medical supplies to patients and staff.
c) Compound medicines and ensure proper storage of medicines and medical supplies.
d) Educate the community on proper use of medicines.
e) Inspect medicines, medical supplies, chemicals, reagents, and cosmetics in the work area.
f) Report adverse drug reactions resulting from medicine use.
g) Prepare reports on the utilization of medicines and medical supplies.
h) Conduct quality control of medicines, medical supplies, chemicals, reagents, and cosmetics.
i) Conduct inspections in medicine storage areas.
j) Supervise the performance of subordinate staff.
k) Maintain records of medicines and medical supplies.
l) Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor related to the applicant’s education, experience, and skills.
3.2 Qualifications of the Applicant
Applicants must hold a Diploma in Pharmacy Technology from a Government-recognized institution and be registered with the Pharmacy Council.
4.0 NURSE: POSITIONS – 02
4.1 Duties and Responsibilities
a) Provide nursing services to clients in the community, hospital, and all health service delivery areas.
b) Supervise and coordinate the work of health attendants in the assigned work area.
c) Collect data and prepare performance reports.
d) Provide counseling services.
e) Provide preventive services and family planning services.
f) Provide maternal and child health services.
g) Educate patients and the community on their health conditions.
h) Monitor the care and maintenance of working tools and equipment.
i) Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor in accordance with education, experience, and skills.
4.2 Qualifications of the Applicant
Applicants must be Form Four graduates with a two-year Nursing Certificate from a Government-recognized institution and be registered with the Tanzania Nurses and Midwives Council.
5.0 HEALTH ASSISTANT: POSITIONS – 02
5.1 Duties and Responsibilities
a) Clean working equipment, health service delivery areas, and the surrounding environment.
b) Assist incapacitated patients, including feeding, toileting, and personal hygiene.
c) Collect dirty linen and deliver it for laundry services.
d) Transport patient samples for laboratory testing and follow up on results.
e) Transport patients between departments within the health facility.
f) Maintain cleanliness equipment.
g) Educate the community on the importance of environmental and personal hygiene to prevent disease outbreaks.
h) Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
5.2 Qualifications of the Applicant
Applicants must be Form Four graduates who have successfully completed one-year training in Health, Community Health (NTA Level 4), or any related training from Government-recognized health institutions.

- Professional certificates from respective professional boards
d) Testimonials, provisional results, statements of results, and Form IV and Form VI result slips will NOT be accepted.
e) Submission of forged information or qualifications will lead to legal action against the applicant.
