SALES OFFICER
INDUSTRY: INSURANCE
HR World Limited, on behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Sales Officer who will be responsible for promoting and selling insurance products, with a strong focus on health and medical insurance, while ensuring excellent customer service and portfolio growth.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Identify and acquire new clients to expand the company’s insurance portfolio.
· Promote and sell health and medical insurance products to individuals, corporates, and institutions.
· Conduct client visits, presentations, and product awareness sessions to generate leads and close sales.
· Prepare quotations, proposals, and insurance documentation in line with customer requirements.
· Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction, renewals, and retention.
· Follow up on inquiries, referrals, and leads to ensure timely conversion into business.
· Support clients with policy onboarding, benefits explanation, and claims process guidance.
· Coordinate with underwriting and claims departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
· Ensure proper collection of premiums and submission of all required documents on time.
· Participate in marketing campaigns, activations, and corporate engagement programs.
· Monitor competitor activities and market trends and provide feedback to management.
· Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
· Ensure compliance with insurance regulations, company policies, and ethical sales standards.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance, Public Health, or related field.
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in insurance sales, preferably in health and medical insurance.
· Strong understanding of medical insurance products, healthcare service providers, and customer needs.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
· Strong problem-solving and client handling skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office applications.
