METHOD AND MARITIME SECURITY SPECIALIST
On behalf of our Tanzania based client, we are looking for a competent and experienced Method and Maritime Security Specialist.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· To be responsible for ensuring that the Port Facility Security Assessment (to be conducted by TASAC) and Terminal Facility Security Plan for the Marine Tank Terminal in Chongoleani, Tanga are prepared and submitted to the Tanzanian authorities for final approval to meet International Ship and Port Security (ISPS) requirements.
· To oversee and deliver the integration of Maritime Security operations between land and sea assets whilst working in conjunction with the Tanga Port Authorities, Tanzanian Marine Police and Government Security Forces.
· To provide Maritime Counter Terrorism advice and training for all parties. Assess maritime contractor’s performance, locations and liaison capabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
· A minimum of 10 years of experience in similar roles within the Oil & Gas and/or construction sectors.
· Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) certification.
· Experience in development and maintenance of security plans.
· Strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
