The Southern Zonal Referral Hospital – Mtwara, on behalf of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health, invites qualified Tanzanian citizens to apply for 51 volunteer positions on a one-year contract.

Employment Terms
- Volunteer appointment.
- One-year contract.
- Duty station: Southern Zonal Referral Hospital, Mtwara.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess the academic and professional qualifications required for their respective positions. Where applicable, candidates must have completed internship training, hold valid professional registration/licensing, and have qualifications from government-recognized institutions.
Salary and Allowances
Successful applicants will receive salary and allowances in accordance with the Public Service Volunteer Guidelines (June 2025 Edition) and other applicable Public Service laws, regulations, and procedures.
General Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be Tanzanian citizens aged 18–35 years.
- Submit an application letter.
- Attach:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- Birth certificate.
- National ID (NIDA).
- Certified academic certificates.
- Professional certificates.
- Full professional registration and valid practicing license (where applicable).
- Two passport-size photographs.
- Recommendation letter from the Village or Street Executive Officer.
- Be the lawful holder of all submitted certificates.
- Have two guarantors who are Public Servants.
- Not have previously been employed by any Public Institution after graduation.
- Have foreign secondary education certificates verified by NECTA.
