ABOUT US
AML Finance LTD is a fast-growing financial institution licensed and regulated by the Bank of Tanzania, serving SMEs and selected salaried customers.
THE ROLE
The successful candidate will combine commercial leadership with strong credit judgment, financial discipline, regulatory credibility and the ability to build a high-performing institution.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Execute AML’s 2025–2030 strategy and deliver sustainable profitability.
• Strengthen credit quality, portfolio monitoring, collections and recovery.
• Diversify funding and improve systems, technology and operational efficiency.
• Build a high-performing leadership team and a strong culture of accountability.
• Maintain strong relationships with the Board, regulators, investors, lenders and customers.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
• At least 15 years’ experience in banking, non-bank finance, SME finance, microfinance, development finance or a related field, including senior executive leadership.
• Proven success in delivering growth, transformation and sustainable profitability.
• Strong knowledge of SME credit and portfolio-quality management.
• Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s, MBA or relevant professional qualification is an advantage.
• Experience in Tanzania or a comparable African market is desirable.
