Registered Nurse
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with established professional standards, hospital policies, and clinical protocols.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
- Monitor patients' conditions and promptly report significant changes to the attending clinician.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient records.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and health promotion.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control standards.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to medical emergencies.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical and professional nursing standards.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service in all patient interactions and actively promote patient satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Registered with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council (TNMC) and possess a valid practicing license.
- At least one (1) year of relevant clinical experience in a reputable hospital is preferred.
- Excellent clinical judgment and patient care skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork, integrity, and professionalism.
- Computer literacy will be an added advantage.
