INFORMATION SYSTEMS MANAGER
JOB SUMMARY
This role leads the utilization of Information & Communication Technology (ICT) in the airline. This covers all the technology, systems, people and processes involved.
The Information Systems Manager advises senior management and the Board on opportunities for harnessing the benefits of applying ICT in the airline, while ensuring that the operations of running the existing ICT systems are effective and efficient.
The role ensures that the airline keeps abreast of ICT developments in the airline industry and applies them as required. This must be done across all areas of the airline's network, in collaboration with its partners and service providers in the airline industry.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field. A Master's Degree in Information Technology will be an added advantage.
• Certified Information Security Manager.
• Any IT Manager Certification.
• Certification in Cyber Security.
• Team player with high integrity.
• At least 5 years of working experience in ICT management. Similar experience as part of a business management team will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of airline communications technology and IATA system processes.
