1. CREDIT ANALYST

Job Purpose

To ensure timely and quality assessment of proposals for credit facilities, whether new or existing, based on sound credit and financial principles.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional credit assessment services to business units by assessing and evaluating credit facility requests based on sound credit policies and financial principles while minimizing risk to the Bank.
  • Provide specialist credit assessment to determine whether credit proposals meet required criteria and whether counterparty credit risk falls within acceptable parameters.
  • Independently recommend appropriate credit proposals, including terms and conditions necessary to ring-fence the Bank's exposure.
  • Review and evaluate information to gain a thorough understanding of business parameters that create profit or value and their associated risks.
  • Defend professional judgement without negatively affecting business relationships.

2. MANAGER FINANCE & CONTROL

Job Purpose

To ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions, cost analysis, budgeting, budgetary control and efficiency and effectiveness in the payment process.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage accounting operations including charts of accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cost analysis and month/year-end processes.
  • Control financial resources to ensure all financial transactions, systems and procedures comply with local and international regulations, accounting principles and standards.

Job Purpose

Responsible for asset product development, management and performance for Retail Banking.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and manage a compelling Retail Banking portfolio of asset products.
  • Ensure proper communication of new products before public launch, including awareness and training for branches and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure new products are approved and aligned with controls, regulations, customer-centric principles and fair pricing.

4. RELATIONSHIP MANAGER; PARASTATALS

Job Purpose

To manage and grow the Salaried Workers Loan (SWL) portfolio within parastatal institutions by acquiring new schemes, deepening penetration in existing schemes and ensuring portfolio quality.

The role also oversees, guides and works closely with Direct Sales Staff (DSS) to execute SWL sales campaigns, ensuring maximum penetration and compliance while delivering excellent customer and employer experience.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify, negotiate and onboard new parastatal schemes in line with the Bank's SWL growth agenda.
  • Deepen penetration in existing parastatal schemes through regular engagement with Human Resources and Payroll officers.
  • Conduct structured employer visits, presentations and financial literacy sessions to promote SWL awareness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parastatal decision-makers to ensure sustainable partnerships.
  • Prepare and implement a scheme penetration plan with measurable milestones for each parastatal.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and daily support to DSS to achieve SWL acquisition and disbursement targets.
  • Monitor DSS productivity, including applications, disbursements and conversion rates, and take corrective action where required.
  • Conduct joint field visits with DSS to employers to ensure product promotion and onboarding are effectively executed.
  • Ensure DSS adhere to compliance standards, ethical sales practices and accurate documentation.

Job Purpose

To support the implementation and execution of the Operational Risk Management Framework across the Bank by identifying, assessing, monitoring and reporting operational risks.

Risk Assessment, Analysis & Reporting

  • Support business units in the creation, maintenance and enhancement of Risk Registers.
  • Facilitate identification, setup and calibration of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
  • Analyse and validate reported KRI results.
