Yuaja Beekeeping Services is a Tanzanian apiculture enterprise specializing in the development, commercialization, and sustainable transformation of the beekeeping value chain. The company operates across key areas of the sector, including commercial apiary development, beekeeping training and technical extension, modern beehive manufacturing, honey and bee-product processing, value addition, marketing, and distribution.
Yuaja is committed to advancing modern, productive, commercially viable, technology-enabled, and environmentally sustainable apiculture while creating opportunities for beekeepers, farmers, entrepreneurs, communities, and other actors across the value chain.
Our work combines technical expertise, practical field experience, innovation, appropriate technology, quality assurance, value addition, and market-oriented enterprise development to build a stronger and more competitive apiculture industry in Tanzania and East Africa.
As Yuaja expands its apiary operations, processing capacity, training programmes, commercial activities, and distribution network, we are seeking 56 talented, innovative, self-driven, adaptable, and results-oriented Tanzanian youth to join our growing team.
We are particularly interested in individuals who do not simply wait for instructions, but who can think critically, identify opportunities, solve problems, adapt to technology, learn new things quickly, and are results-oriented.
1. APICULTURE & WORKSHOP OPERATIONS
1. Beekeeping Officer — 1 Position
Duty Station: Singida
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Beekeeping from a recognized university.
- Qualifications in general Forestry, Agriculture, or unrelated disciplines will not be considered.
Experience
- Both entry-level and experienced candidates may apply.
- Previous experience in project implementation, training, extension, research, or commercial beekeeping will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, establishment, development, and management of commercial apiaries and bee reserves.
- Manage and provide technical oversight for company beekeeping projects.
- Plan, implement, monitor, document, and report on apiary and apiculture projects.
- Coordinate the establishment of new apiary sites and ensure compliance with technical and environmental standards.
- Develop strategies for improving colony productivity, apiary performance, and bee-product yields.
- Design and oversee technical training programmes for beekeepers, out-growers, staff, and project beneficiaries.
- Provide technical leadership in modern apiculture, colony management, queen rearing, colony multiplication, pest and disease management, and sustainable apiary development.
- Conduct and support applied research and field-based innovation in beekeeping.
- Develop technical guidelines, standard operating procedures, and best practices for apiary operations.
- Monitor project and apiary performance and prepare technical reports for management.
- Establish professional relationships with beekeepers, institutions, researchers, government authorities, development partners, and other sector stakeholders.

2. Assistant Beekeeping Officer — 2 Positions
Duty Station: Singida
Minimum Qualifications
- Ordinary Diploma in Beekeeping from a recognized institution.
Experience
- Both entry-level and experienced candidates may apply.
- Experience in field extension, beekeeper training, apiary establishment, or project implementation will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the establishment, development, and management of company and out-grower apiaries.
- Conduct practical beekeeping training and field extension services for farmers, beekeepers, out-growers, and beneficiaries.
- Organize and deliver practical and theoretical training sessions in modern apiculture.
- Support implementation and supervision of beekeeping projects.
- Participate in apiary site assessment, hive placement, colony introduction, and apiary establishment.
- Manage assigned apiaries and monitor colony development, productivity, and performance.
- Carry out hive inspections, colony assessment, queen management, colony multiplication, swarm management, and pest and disease control.
- Support safe and hygienic harvesting of honey, bee pollen, beeswax, and other bee products.
- Maintain accurate records on apiary establishment, training activities, colony performance, production, and field interventions.
- Provide technical support to beekeepers and out-growers.
- Assist with field data collection, project monitoring, and technical reporting.

3. Bee Technician — 4 Positions
Duty Station: Singida
Minimum Qualifications
- Basic Technician Certificate in Beekeeping from a recognized institution.
Experience
- Entry-level and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Support establishment and preparation of apiary sites.
- Assist with hive installation, baiting, colony introduction, and swarm catching.
- Support scheduled hive inspections and harvesting operations.
- Assist with apiary maintenance and preparation of sites for commercial production.
- Handle and transport bee products safely and hygienically.
- Support large-scale apiary establishment and harvesting assignments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Highly practical, energetic, and physically capable of working in apiary environments.
- A person who enjoys learning by doing and can quickly master practical beekeeping techniques.
- Creative and capable of finding simple and effective solutions to field challenges.
- Comfortable using basic digital tools for field records, communication, photographs, location sharing, and reporting.
- Disciplined, safety-conscious, and attentive to detail.
- Self-motivated and dependable, even when working under limited supervision.
- Willing to learn new equipment, methods, technologies, and modern beekeeping practices.
- A good team player who can work effectively under the direction of technical officers.
4. Joinery Manager — 1 Position

Minimum Qualifications
- Certificate or NTA Level 3 in Carpentry and Joinery.
Experience
- Practical experience in woodworking, carpentry, joinery, or workshop management is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the beehive manufacturing and joinery workshop.
- Supervise the design, construction, repair, and maintenance of modern beehives.
- Prepare material estimates, production schedules, and workshop requirements.
- Supervise workshop personnel and production activities.
- Monitor machinery, tools, safety, and maintenance.
- Ensure beehives comply with standardized dimensions and bee-space requirements.
- Control material wastage and maintain production records.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- A technical thinker and maker who can convert designs into high-quality physical products.
- Highly attentive to measurements, specifications, precision, and product quality.
- Capable of identifying workshop inefficiencies and developing practical improvements.

2. QUALITY ASSURANCE & PROCESSING

5. Honey Processing & Quality Control Officer — 1 Position
Duty Station: Singida / Dar es Salaam
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma in Food Science, Food Processing, Industrial Processing, or a related field.
Experience
- Entry-level candidates may apply.
- Knowledge of industrial food processing, food safety, quality control, or production systems is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise receipt, inspection, sampling, and quality assessment of raw honey.
- Conduct and monitor moisture-content testing and grading.
- Ensure hygienic handling, processing, storage, and packaging of honey.
- Supervise automated bottling and packaging operations.
- Implement quality assurance procedures and maintain production records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable TBS and food-safety requirements.
- Supervise production staff and support achievement of daily production targets.
- Identify quality problems and implement corrective actions.

6. Sales Manager — 1 Position

Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Sales Management, or any related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in FMCG sales, distribution, business development, or sales leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies.
- Lead B2C and B2B sales operations.
- Set and monitor sales targets.
- Develop territory and route-to-market strategies.
- Build relationships with distributors, retailers, institutions, and corporate customers.

- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in marketing, brand management, trade marketing, or related work.

- Plan and implement marketing campaigns.
- Strengthen Yuaja’s brand visibility.
- Develop relationships with supermarkets, retailers, hotels, institutions, and other outlets.
- Support product placement, promotions, exhibitions, and events.
- Coordinate promotional campaigns.

- Minimum of 1 year managing organizational or corporate digital platforms.

- Monitor engagement, audience growth, leads, and e-commerce performance.
- Support online customer acquisition and conversion.

9. Field Sales Supervisor — 4 Positions
Duty Station: Dar es Salaam
Minimum Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing, Community Development, or a related field.
Experience
- Entry-level candidates with demonstrated leadership potential may apply.
- Previous field-sales supervision is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise approximately 10 Direct Field Sales Officers.
- Conduct daily team briefings.
- Allocate territories and routes.
- Monitor field activities and sales performance.
- Support achievement of daily and monthly targets.
- Monitor stock issuance and collections.
- Coach and supervise sales representatives.
