KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. LAUNCH & MARKET ACTIVATION
- Execute launch strategy.
- Drive aggressive brand awareness through dealers, banners, and other marketing activities.
- Gather market intelligence.
- Document success stories, including farmer testimonials and yield proof.
2. DISTRIBUTION & SALES
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Map and expand the dealer network.
- Onboard and train agro-dealers.
- Drive product demand in assigned regions.
3. TRIALS & TECHNICAL TRAINING
- Manage field trials to demonstrate soil impact.
- Host interactive farmer field days.
- Provide soil diagnostic services using pH meters.
- Educate farmers on soil acidity and proper application of agro-lime.
4. FIELD VISITS & EXTENSION
- Conduct structured farm-gate visits.
- Troubleshoot crop health challenges.
- Provide technical training and extension support to farmers.
- Monitor and support field trials.
5. FIELD VISITS & EXTENSION
- Conduct regular farm visits.
- Provide technical advice on crop production.
- Focus on regional crops such as maize, beans, and potatoes.
6. GOVERNMENT & STAKEHOLDER COORDINATION
- Coordinate with local government authorities and agricultural extension officers.
- Ensure policy compliance and required permits.
- Build and maintain public and stakeholder partnerships.
7. REPORTING & ADMIN
- Maintain accurate data on field trials and soil logs.
- Submit weekly work plans and expense reports.
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly sales reports.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy, Agribusiness, Soil Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in agri-input sales and/or agricultural extension.
- Technical knowledge of East African soils and lime chemistry.
- Strong relationship management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using pH meters, MS Office, and WhatsApp.
- Fluency in both Swahili and English.
- Valid driver's or motorcycle license is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate and work in the specified regions.
