  1. CONTACT CENTER ADVISOR; INCLUSIVE DESK (FIXED TERM – 1 YEAR) – 1 POSITION

Job Location: Head Office, HQ

Job Purpose: To provide full Contact Centre advisor support across all approved customer service channels while also serving as a specialized support resource for customers who have hearing impairment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide normal Contact Centre customer support through calls and approved digital channels including email, social media, live chat, WhatsApp and other service platforms. • Serve customers who have hearing impairment through sign language support, video support, chat or other approved accessible channels. • Receive and respond to customer enquiries, requests and complaints in line with approved Contact Centre procedures and service standards. • Support customers on account enquiries, card issues, mobile banking, internet banking, ATM, agency banking, failed transactions, product information and general banking services. • Log all customer interactions, complaints and service requests accurately in the approved CRM or case management system. • Troubleshoot customer issues and provide appropriate first-level resolutions where possible. • Escalate unresolved or complex issues to relevant internal teams and follow up until closure within agreed SLA. • Provide branch support where a customer with disability requires specialized communication support that is not available at branch level. • Guide branch teams on how to connect customers to the centralized Deaf/PWD Support Desk when specialized support is required. • Promote digital banking adoption by educating customers on benefits, features, security awareness, self-service options and safe usage. • Support outbound customer engagement, service recovery, retention, sales campaigns, customer education and follow-up activities as assigned. • Maintain confidentiality, privacy and dignity of customers, especially where customers would otherwise rely on third parties for communication. • Prepare daily, weekly or monthly reports on handled cases, complaints, escalations, PWD/deaf desk usage and recurring issues as required. • Work on 24/7 roster arrangements including weekends and public holidays where required by Contact Centre operations. • Adhere to Financial Consumer Protection Regulations, Risk, Compliance, Data Protection, NMB values, Code of Conduct, policies and procedures.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Good knowledge of Contact Centre operations, customer service standards and customer complaint handling. • Knowledge of banking products, services, and digital channels. • Ability to communicate professionally with customers across calls, chat, email, social media and video channels. • Ability to support customers with special needs (who have hearing impairment) using sign language or approved accessible communication methods. • Customer service call handling, service recovery, complaint management, problem solving, escalation follow-up and customer education. • Ability to support outbound engagement, retention, sales leads, cross-selling and digital adoption initiatives where assigned. • Ability to document issues, prepare simple reports, identify trends and recommend service improvements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics or any other related field. • Professional certification or demonstrated capability in sign language is a must. • Experience in handling inbound calls, outbound calls, complaints and customer follow-up activities preferably in banking or financial services will be an added advantage.

  1. RELATIONSHIP MANAGER; AGRI RETAIL MONITORING – 1 POSITION

Job Location: Head Office, HQ

Job Purpose: Responsible for monitoring the quality of the Agri Retail Loans portfolio by tracking arrears across branch networks, ensuring timely rectification of identified issues, and following up on the submission of post-approval loan conditions and supporting documentation.

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitor and supervise the performance and quality of the entire Agri-Retail loan portfolio issued and disbursed across the branch network. • Conduct daily and weekly analysis of key portfolio indicators (delinquency, concentration, repayment trends) to manage early warning signals and recommend timely intervention strategies to the branch network. • Ensure Agri-Retail loan products are processed and delivered according to Standard Operating Procedures and credit policies. • Support the growth of the asset book by conducting daily, weekly, and monthly performance tracking per Relationship Manager and branch against budgetary targets. • Collaborate with Credit Operations and Credit Admin teams to support efficient loan disbursement processes. • Review issues related to Agri Retail logged in NMB Cure and provide solutions or forward to the respective Line Manager for inputs and closure. • Prepare detailed periodic and ad-hoc evaluation reports on Agri-Retail performance. • Train and coach field Relationship Officers and Relationship Managers on business best practices, lending processes and evaluation methodologies. • Participate in departmental sales, portfolio quality and planning meetings. • Support the successful execution of strategic initiatives such as rural banking expansion and new product rollouts.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Sound knowledge of Agribusiness economics and business development. • Sound knowledge of Agribusiness Retail Banking products and services. • Excellent knowledge of agriculture sector dynamics and related laws. • Sound understanding of banking loan products, policies and procedures. • Excellent knowledge of banking operations and financial markets in Tanzania. • Computer proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access. • Excellent communication, numerical, analytical, report writing and presentation skills. • Self-motivated and innovative with ability to initiate and lead change. • Good customer relationship management skills. • Managerial and leadership skills. • Strong interpersonal and networking skills. • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

  1. RELATIONSHIP MANAGER; COMMERCIAL – CHINESE DESK – 2 POSITIONS

Job Location: Head Office, HQ

Job Purpose: To advise Business Banking department on strategy towards growing Chinese Commercial Businesses customer portfolio.

Main Responsibilities:

• Actively sell deposits, loans and other bank products including forex, internet banking and trade products to Chinese commercial customers. • Appraise credit applications above the Branch limit and provide recommendations for decision making. • Advise Senior Manager on all aspects relating to developing Chinese Commercial businesses. • Take a leading role in driving Chinese customer growth through networking and promotional activities. • Build capacity of SME Relationship Officers through mentoring and support. • Review Chinese customers' feedback and market intelligence to establish appropriate product improvements. • Coordinate budget objectives for Chinese businesses. • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing accurate advice and solutions. • Prepare budgets and projections for loan and deposit products.

  1. RELATIONSHIP MANAGER; PERSONAL LENDING – 1 POSITION

Job Location: Head Office, HQ

Job Purpose: To manage and grow the Salaried Workers Loan portfolio within Local Government Authorities and Central Government Ministries.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. SENIOR MANAGER; BUSINESS INSIGHTS & ANALYTICS – 1 POSITION

Job Purpose: Act as a Bank analytics partner to the business, turning data into decisions that leadership and business units can act on. Responsible for owning the business side of data, analysis, models, dashboards and insights.

Main Responsibilities:

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or a related quantitative field. • Master's degree or relevant professional certification is an added advantage. • Minimum of 5 years' experience in data analytics or business intelligence, with at least 2–3 years leading a team. • Proven experience in banking, financial services, payments or comparable transaction-intensive environment. • Experience working in a matrix environment. • Track record of building dashboards, analytical products and predictive models. • Experience working with regulators, auditors and compliance requirements in financial services.

Job Purpose: Drive ecosystem and value chain banking by structuring and managing end-to-end client ecosystems, enabling growth in deposits, digital adoption and revenue through strategic collaboration and integration of value chain participants.

Main Responsibilities:
