JOB VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Director of Temeke Municipality invites qualified Tanzanian citizens with an interest in working in this Municipality to apply for three (03) job vacancies after receiving permission from the President's Office, Public Service Management and Good Governance as detailed below:

DRIVER GRADE II – 03 POSITIONS
1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Inspect the vehicle before and after trips to determine its safety condition.
ii. Transport staff to various locations on official assignments.
iii. Perform minor vehicle repairs.
iv. Maintain and record all trips in the trip logbook.
v. Collect and distribute various documents.
vi. Clean the vehicle.
vii. Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
1.1.2 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
The applicant must have a Form IV certificate and a Class C or E driving license which has been in use for not less than one year without causing an accident.
The applicant must have attended a Basic Driving Course offered by VETA, NIT, or another institution recognized by the Government.

GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR APPLICANTS
i. All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years.
ii. Applicants with disabilities are encouraged to apply and must specify their disability in the job application system.
iii. All applicants must attach a birth certificate certified by a Magistrate or Lawyer.
iv. Applicants currently employed in entry positions in Public Service should not apply and must adhere to Circular No. CCA.45/257/01/D/140 dated 30 November 2010.
v. Applicants must attach a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) with a reliable address, phone numbers, and names of three reliable referees.
vi. Applicants for Driver Grade II with Class C or E licenses must attach driving certificates qualifying them for those license classes.
vii. All applications must be accompanied by professional certificates and certified copies of academic certificates. Testimonials, Provisional Results, Statement of Results, and Form IV/VI Results Slips WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
viii. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must attach verification and approval reports from TCU, NECTA, and NACTE.
ix. Retired public servants are not allowed to apply unless permitted by the Chief Secretary.
x. Applicants with different names on their Academic, Birth, and NIDA certificates must attach a Deed Poll.
xi. Applicants with spelling differences in their Academic, Birth, and NIDA certificates must attach an Affidavit.
xii. Applicants who submit false information will face legal action.
xiii. Deadline for submitting applications is 24/11/2025.
xiv. Applications submitted outside the specified procedure WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
