The Secretary of the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat, on behalf of the National Audit Office (NAOT), invites job applications from qualified Tanzanians to fill 142 vacant posts as specified in this announcement.
NATIONAL AUDIT OFFICE (NAOT)
1.0 AUDITOR GRADE II – 121 POSTS
1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. To participate in preparing and implementing audit programmes;
ii. To participate in preparing quarterly reports and submitting them to the supervisor;
iii. To audit payment vouchers, receipts and bank accounts;
iv. To investigate internal control systems and prepare audit reports and issues;
v. To conduct forensic audits and prepare audit reports and issues;
vi. To implement the Office's audit guidelines;
vii. To liaise with Auditees to discuss issues affecting audit progress;
viii. To audit expenditure, development, trust, agency, fund, special project and Government revenue documents;
ix. To evaluate work plans and prepare basic adjustments and submit them to the supervisor;
x. To prepare issues, audit letters and annual reports; and
xi. To perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
1.2 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Arts with an Accounting bias or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Information Systems Technology or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance or Bachelor's Degree in Public Sector Accounting and Finance from Government recognized institutions.

2.0 INFORMATION OFFICER GRADE II – (GRAPHIC DESIGN SPECIALTY) – 1 POST
2.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. To manage the Office's digital communication systems such as websites and social networks;
ii. To monitor and analyse various information related to the National Audit Office;
iii. To take and edit still and motion pictures for internal and external institutional communications;
iv. To prepare images and design graphics with audit content for audit reports, stakeholder reports and exhibitions;
v. To participate in the Office's digital communication campaigns;
vi. To maintain a database of designs and communication records; and
vii. To perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
2.2 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia Technology (Bachelor of Science in Multimedia Technology) or Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Government recognized institutions.

v. To prepare magazines and posters;
vi. To collect various information statistics;

Bachelor's Degree in Journalism (Bachelor of Arts in Journalism) or Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Government recognized institutions.
