REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Tutorial Assistant / Tutor
- Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field (First Class or Upper Second Class) with a GPA of not less than 3.5 or B+ grade or above.
2. Assistant Lecturer
- Holder of a Master’s Degree in the relevant field from a recognized University with a GPA of not less than 4.0 or B+.
- Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field (First or Upper Second Class) with a GPA of not less than 3.5 or B+.
3. Lecturer
- PhD in the relevant field or MMed Degree or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 4.0 from a recognized University; or
- Holder of a Master’s Degree in the relevant field with a GPA of not less than 4.0 or B+; and
- Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field (First or Upper Second Class) with a GPA of not less than 3.5 or B+.
4. Senior Lecturer
- Must meet all qualifications for Lecturer;
- Must have publications which, upon assessment, produce a minimum of five (5) points;
- Must have teaching, research, and consultancy experience of not less than three (3) years after attaining the rank of Lecturer.
5. Laboratory Technicians
- Holder of an Ordinary Diploma in the relevant field with at least four (4) years of relevant hands-on working experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF ASSISTANT LECTURERS / LECTURERS / SENIOR LECTURERS
- To teach students of relevant academic programmes.
- To conduct research for the advancement of knowledge in relevant fields.
- To offer consultancy services and engage in community outreach and public service.
