JOB OVERVIEW
Healthy Seaweed Co. Limited is seeking an energetic, confident, and reliable Activation Officer to promote and educate customers about our sea moss products in supermarkets and mini-markets. This is a full-day, field-based role that involves setting up product booths, offering samples, engaging customers, guiding them to product shelves, and providing daily activity updates via WhatsApp.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Set up and maintain a clean, attractive, and well-organized product booth.
• Welcome customers and educate them about sea moss products and their benefits.
• Offer product samples and actively engage customers.
• Guide customers to product shelves to enhance visibility and encourage purchases.
• Advise the Local Sales Officer on effective in-store product positioning.
• Wear a clean uniform and maintain a professional and smart appearance at all times.
• Provide daily evidence of activities, including booth photos and photos of purchases made.
• Submit brief daily activity reports via WhatsApp.
• Represent the Healthy Seaweed brand professionally at all times.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience in marketing, sales promotion, or brand activation.
Campaign and Market Skills
• Ability to plan and execute marketing activations and promotional activities.
• Understanding of target audiences and basic market trends.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to build relationships with customers and store staff.
Attributes and Technical Skills
• Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Familiarity with basic marketing tools, CRM systems, and social media platforms is an added advantage.
KEY SKILLS
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence in approaching and engaging customers.
• Ability to clearly and persuasively explain product benefits.
• Good personal presentation, hygiene, and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic reporting skills using WhatsApp or mobile phone.
• High level of reliability, punctuality, and accountability.
• Previous sales or promotion experience is an added advantage.
