1. POSITION: ASSISTANT MANAGER - TRADE FINANCE
Location: Corporate Office

Job Description:
- Provide specialized technical expertise in Trade
Finance products sales to various clients under MSME segment by engaging
with Relationship Managers from Branches and Head Office
- Oversee Trade Finance MSME portfolio assigned on new
and existing customers and increase wallet share to the department/Unit
- Ensure established SLAs between customers, Staff and
Trade Operations are adhered to and maintained, ensuring satisfactory
customer service levels from sales/after sales perspective
- Manage product targeted results, Reports and P&L
responsibilities for MSMEs under the department/Unit
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales performance targets as specified in
annual objective settings
- Independently receive, solve and recommend practical
solutions on Technical Trade Finance Products queries
- Manage communication within targeted portfolio on
network, tariffs and operational processes
- Analyze Exim Bank Trade Finance performance in relation
to market peers through own intelligence
- Offer specialist advice to customers and MSME
Relationship Managers on Trade Finance products regarding interpretation
of trade principles such as UCP600, URDGs, ISP, URC
- Ensure growth of MSME Trade finance business by
engaging relationship teams in analyzing and selling appropriate products
- Complete call reports to summarize discussions,
opportunities and agreed actions related to client sales calls
- Report to relationship teams on outstanding liability
positions, sales volumes and sales revenue per client level
- Responsible for annual review and updating of Trade
products/service delivery processing procedure manual
- Circulate information on regulatory changes by
government authorities, Central Bank of Tanzania and Exim Bank
- Provide necessary training for new staff, relationship
managers and other bank staff on trade finance products

maintaining high standard risk cautions

Assist in the development of bank goals and objectives; design, implement and
administer bank's local and wide area network systems; provide technical
support; train department staff; manage assigned projects and service
providers; provide leadership in technology usage across Exim Bank Group.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage and support Cisco SD-WAN infrastructure,
including configuration, monitoring, policies, and troubleshooting
- Operate and maintain Cisco MPLS WAN connectivity and
related routing services
- Administer and troubleshoot FortiGate and Sophos
firewalls, including security policies, NAT, VPNs, and UTM features

organization's Data Centre and Cloud Infrastructure environments. Play a key
role in driving IT infrastructure modernization initiatives, strengthening
platform reliability, enhancing security posture, and enabling business
continuity through best-practice architecture and operational governance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end management and administration of
Data Centre infrastructure including servers, virtualization platforms,
and enterprise storage (SAN/NAS) and peripherals
- Support and optimize Cloud Infrastructure solutions
through effective provisioning, management, protection, and security of
virtualized resources across hybrid environments
- Explore DevOps practices to drive automation and

Manage the Bank's portfolio of retail delinquent assets through monitoring,
tracking and employing cost-effective techniques appropriate to each defaulting
debtor to ensure collection and recovery of loans in the shortest possible
time.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Business Management:
- Proactive portfolio management through daily calls,
emails, letters, meetings
- Formulate strategies for successful collection/recovery
and reduction in classified and non-performing loans
- Prepare and maintain daily performance monitoring
trackers/reports on collection portfolio focusing on:
- Collection strategies, delinquent flow and default
reasons
- Product performance and early detection of
delinquencies
- Collection flow (Backward flow, Stemmed and forward
flow)
- Maintain retail portfolio for both existing and newly
added accounts with close status updating and weekly reporting
- Liaise with Credit, Retail and Legal units on
collection and recoveries correspondence
- Prepare weekly and monthly collection/recovery reports
- Liaise with external parties including defaulting
borrower representatives, legal firms, court brokers, debt collection
bureaus/agents, property search firms, and courts
- Maintain collection tracker and projection for NPL and
written off accounts for weekly discussion with Recoveries team
- Prepare and send reminders to customers regarding
payments and other issues
- Update management on retail loan performance during
