VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT FOR VOLUNTEER INSTRUCTORS FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2026/2027
Applications are invited from suitable, qualified and experienced Tanzanians who graduated from the College of Business Education to fill the following vacant positions at the College of Business Education – Dodoma Campus.
The College of Business Education was established by the College of Business Education Act, CAP 315 R.E. 2002 (CBE Act). It is a public higher learning institution which provides teaching, research and consultancy services in the fields of Accountancy, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Human Resources Management and other business administration-related disciplines.
1.0 POSITION: VOLUNTEER INSTRUCTOR – BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (1 POST)
1.1 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field. The applicant must have studied the same discipline/specialization at the Bachelor’s Degree level and must have graduated from the College of Business Education (CBE) at least three (3) years prior to the date of this advertisement.
Applicants must have attained a minimum GPA of 3.8 in their Bachelor’s Degree, or a B+ grade in the relevant subject, or its equivalent.
1.2 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Teaches all Business Administration modules from NTA Level 4 up to NTA Level 6.
ii. Prepares learning resources for tutorial exercises.
iii. Conducts research, seminars and case studies.
iv. Carries out consultancy and community services under supervision.
v. Supervises student projects and invigilates examinations.
vi. Performs any other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor.
2.0 POSITION: VOLUNTEER INSTRUCTOR – BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT (1 POST)
2.1 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in Human Resource Management or a related field. The applicant must have studied the same discipline/specialization at the Bachelor’s Degree level and must have graduated from the College of Business Education (CBE) at least three (3) years prior to the date of this advertisement.
Applicants must have attained a minimum GPA of 3.8 in their Bachelor’s Degree, or a B+ grade in the relevant subject, or its equivalent.
2.2 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Teaches all Human Resources modules from NTA Level 4 up to NTA Level 6.
ii. Prepares learning resources for tutorial exercises.
iii. Conducts research, seminars and case studies.

v. Supervises student projects and invigilates examinations.
vi. Performs any other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor.
3.0 POSITION: VOLUNTEER INSTRUCTOR – RECORDS AND ARCHIVE MANAGEMENT (1 POST)
3.1 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Records and Archive Management or a related field. The applicant must have studied the same discipline/specialization at the Bachelor’s Degree level and must have graduated from the College of Business Education (CBE) at least three (3) years prior to the date of this advertisement.
Applicants must have attained a minimum GPA of 3.8 in their Bachelor’s Degree, or a B+ grade in the relevant subject, or its equivalent.

4.1 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or a related field. The applicant must have studied the same discipline/specialization at the Bachelor’s Degree level and must have graduated from the College of Business Education (CBE) at least three (3) years prior to the date of this advertisement.

5.0 POSITION: VOLUNTEER INSTRUCTOR – MARKETING (1 POST)
5.1 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or a related field. The applicant must have studied the same discipline/specialization at the Bachelor’s Degree level and must have graduated from the College of Business Education (CBE) at least three (3) years prior to the date of this advertisement.
Applicants must have attained a minimum GPA of 3.8 in their Bachelor’s Degree, or a B+ grade in the relevant subject, or its equivalent.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism and Event Management or a related field. The applicant must have studied the same discipline/specialization at the Bachelor’s Degree level and must have graduated from the College of Business Education (CBE) at least three (3) years prior to the date of this advertisement.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Metrology and Standardization or a related field. The applicant must have studied the same discipline/specialization at the Bachelor’s Degree level and must have graduated from the College of Business Education (CBE) at least three (3) years prior to the date of this advertisement.
Applicants must have attained a minimum GPA of 3.8 in their Bachelor’s Degree, or a B+ grade in the relevant subject, or its equivalent.

i. Teaches all Metrology and Standardization modules from NTA Level 4 up to NTA Level 6.

vi. Performs any other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisor.
12.0 POSITION: VOLUNTEER INSTRUCTOR – INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (2 POSTS)
12.1 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Information and Communication Technology or a related field. The applicant must have studied the same discipline/specialization at the Bachelor’s Degree level and must have graduated from the College of Business Education (CBE) at least three (3) years prior to the date of this advertisement.
Applicants must have attained a minimum GPA of 3.8 in their Bachelor’s Degree, or a B+ grade in the relevant subject, or its equivalent.
12.2 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

13.0 GENERAL CONDITIONS
i. All applicants must be citizens of Tanzania.
ii. Applicants must attach an up-to-date Curriculum Vitae (CV) containing reliable contacts, postal address/postcode, email address and telephone numbers.
iii. Applicants must attach certified copies of the following certificates:
- Bachelor’s academic transcript and certificate.
- Form IV and Form VI National Examination Certificates.
- Equivalent academic certificates.
iv. An applicant should indicate three reputable referees with reliable contacts.
v. Professional certificates from foreign universities and other training institutions should be verified by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) and the National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET).
vi. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed of the date of the interview.
vii. Presentation of forged certificates and other information will necessitate legal action.
viii. All candidates must be residing in Mwanza, Dodoma or Dar es Salaam.
