JOB VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Executive Director of Kishapu District Council invites qualified Tanzanians to apply for five (05) job vacancies in this Council after obtaining permission from the President's Office, Public Service Management and Good Governance as per the following breakdown:
1.1 OFFICE MANAGEMENT SECRETARY GRADE II - 2 POSITIONS (RE-ADVERTISED)
1.1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Typing letters, reports, and routine documents.
ii. Assisting in receiving guests, presenting their problems, and directing them to the appropriate section for assistance.
iii. Assisting in maintaining records of events, appointments, guests, meeting dates, trips of his/her superior, and other scheduled work activities in the office, and informing his/her superior as needed.
iv. Assisting in searching for and providing his/her superior with files, documents, or anything else required for office work activities.
v. Assisting in conveying instructions from his/her superior to assistants and also informing him/her of any feedback received from those assistants.
vi. Assisting in receiving files, distributing them to officers in his/her section, and collecting, storing, and returning them to the relevant sections.
vii. Performing any other duties assigned by his/her work supervisor.
1.1.2 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
To be employed, the applicant must have Form Four (IV) or Form Six (VI) education and have completed a Diploma (NTA Level 6) in the field of Records Management from Government-recognized colleges, along with computer skills.

1.2 DRIVER GRADE II - 3 POSITIONS
1.2.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. To inspect the vehicle before and after trips to determine the vehicle's safety condition.
ii. To transport staff to various locations on official trips.
iii. To perform minor vehicle repairs.
iv. To collect and distribute various documents.
v. To fill out and maintain records of all trips in the log book.
vi. To clean the vehicle.
1.2.2 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
To be employed, applicants must have a Form Four (Form IV) certificate and a Class E or C driving license for which they have worked for at least one year (1) without causing an accident, along with training certificates that qualified them to obtain the respective classes. They must have attended a Basic Driving Course offered by a VETA College or another Government-recognized College.

GENERAL CONDITIONS
i. All applicants must be Tanzanian Citizens aged between 18 and 45 years.
ii. All applicants must attach a detailed Curriculum Vitae with a functional address, accessible phone numbers, and an Email Address along with the names of three reliable referees.
iii. All applications must be accompanied by certified copies of Academic and Professional Certificates along with a birth certificate, verified by an Advocate/Lawyer. These include Form Four/Six certificates for those who reached that level and various training completion certificates considering the job qualifications. Diploma/Certificates, - Form IV and VI Examination Certificates, - Computer Certificate, - Professional Certificates.
iv. “Testimonial“, “Provisional Results“, “Statement of results“, Form Four and Form Six Results Slips WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
viii. Applicants who studied outside the country must ensure their certificates have been verified and validated by the relevant Authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTE).
ix. Applicants who have retired from the Public Service are not allowed to apply unless they have permission from the Chief Secretary.
x. Submission of false information and qualifications will lead to legal action against the concerned individuals.
xi. The deadline for submitting job applications is 04 December, 2025.
